Isimila attractions

One of the rare attractions at Isimila is pillars naturally made from clay and sandstones, and crowned by a layer of volcanic rocks on top, The rock protect the pillars from water erosion. The sandstone pillars make an attractive site.

Welcome all!

Dear readers,
Welcome to the Utalii Update blog. This blog is kind of an harbinger to the Utalii Update newsletter which is in the process of being established in Tanzania.  Below is the profile of the envisaged travel, tourism and hospitality newsletter
utalii update
utalii update’s main object is to promote all forms of tourism that can be conducted in Tanzania namely, natural, ecological (environmental), cultural and historical. Through this magazine Tanzanians and foreign tourists will learn of the vast tourism opportunities in the country and of how to get to the various sites. Apart from updating readers with information on tourism attractions, the magazine will inform tourists of the procedures, culture, norms and etiquettes to adhere to when making visits around the country. The magazine will be distributed free of charge with aim of making sure that it becomes accessible to all readers interested in the tourism industry. The articles will be published in English although some will be Kiswahili.
